THE GABRIEL SAFDIE MIDDLE EAST EVENT: RECONVENED

A year ago, three activists and a philosopher sat down to discuss life and literature in Israel-Palestine. Now, in the wake of the recent and ongoing catastrophic events unfolding there, author and philosophy professor Carlos Fraenkel, Egyptian-Canadian poet Ehab Lotayef, Israeli author Maya Savir, and Palestinian filmmaker and journalist Rami Younis reconvene to explore how the conversation might continue after so much violence, death and destruction.
